Can I buy a Local Living Voucher as a gift for Someone else?

Yes, you may buy vouchers as Gifts. Unless stated otherwise in the deal details, Local Living vouchers are fully transferrable. In fact, using them as a gift is a great idea so gift away!

 

Can I combine my Local Living voucher with other offers or specials?

No... Not unless stated otherwise on the voucher.

 

Do I need a valid ID to redeem my voucher at the Merchant?

Typically NO, however it’s recommended you always bring a valid ID with you when redeeming your voucher - even if you received the voucher as a gift. The merchant may choose to record your name and ID number to prevent fraud.

 

Does it cost me anything to create an account or sign up for your mailing list?

No! It’s absolutely FREE. In fact, you benefit by being the first to hear about our great deals and this is important because some deals have limits capping the number of purchases on them. Just check your in-box and put us on your safe sender list so we don't land in your junkbox or spam folder.

 

How do I retrieve the vouchers I purchased?

Your Vouchers can be downloaded and printed from your account page. Sign-in to your Local Living Account and you will be able to access and Print your voucher. Each voucher has its own redemption instructions. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email with redemption instructions of your deal. You will also find redemption instructions on the voucher itself. If you forgot your password you can reset it and an email will be sent to your email with password instructions.

 

I bought my Local Living deal voucher, when can I use them?

Each Deal Voucher has its own fine print details with the merchant’s requested terms and conditions. Please take notice of it along with the expiration date . The voucher will have redemption instructions along with the deal details clearly noted. Some merchants will ask you to wait 24 hours after purchase prior to redemption.

 

I like today’s Deal- How do I buy it?

I’m already signed in and can’t find my vouchers. Where did it go?

If you are already signed in and can't see your voucher under the "my Vouchers" section of your account, chances are it is in the " Already Printed" or “Marked as Used” section. 

 

I’ve signed up to get on your deal email alert but are not receiving them?

Please check your spam or junk folder and note us as a safe sender so future emails will be received in your safe folder. Under your email options you can add as 'Add Contact' or take us out of the 'Junk E-mail' and 'Add Sender to Safe Senders List'.

 

If I don’t fuse the entire full value of the Voucher in one visit, can I use the remaining amount later?

No. Unless otherwise stated you do not receive store credit or cash back for whatever you don't use; therefore it is recommended to bring a friend and share the deal with them.

 

Is Local Living safe to use?

We are very safe. We use Authorize.Net and PayPal for processing every credit card, which is transmitted by SSL directly. We do not store the credit card information on our servers at any time. We are also SSL verified by GoDaddy and VeriSign Trusted.

 

What do I get for referring my friends?

What happens if a business I purchased a voucher from closes or moves out of my area?

If a business closes or moves to an area outside of the city you originally purchased the vouchers for, we will provide you a full refund. Please contact us at support@localliving.com for details.

 

What happens if my voucher expires? Can I still use it?

All is not lost! Once a voucher reaches its expiration date, it loses its promotional value, but you can still redeem it at the price you paid for the length of time stated by gift certificate laws in your state.

We aim to please and will do our best to resolve your request. We have a 10 day Refund Policy, meaning if you want to return your voucher for whatever reason within 10 days of your purchase, Local Living will honor a full refund for the amount that you paid to the purchaser in the original form of payment. Otherwise All Sales are Final and we do not provide refunds unless you are unable to redeem a voucher because the merchant has gone out of business. Expired and Used vouchers do not qualify for a refund.
